I tried to ride the Grand Prix, and I knew I was not tall enough but I still wanted to try it. While I was waiting, I saw someone that was shorter than me riding the ride when you have to be more than 60 inches tall. He was obviously shorter than me, and I wasn't even 60 and just saw so you can tell that he wasn't supposed to be riding the Ride. I start the race was over with the shorter guy in it, it was my turn. When I was about to get on the ride and welcome from your side and asked me if you could check my height. So, I let him. I thought he would let me ride, since the kid shorter than me rode before me. But instead of letting me by, he told me I was too short. I was really disappointed and angry. They need better staff. The new to hire workers that don't choose one person over another person and treats everyone the same. Again, really disappointed! :C
Come down with a plan. I missed one of the all day packages. But well worth the time. Clean facility, accommodating staff. Place is really meant for 3-10 year olds. Great way to spend a few hours.
Video games, a rock wall, roller coaster, batting cages, mini golf, bowling, bumper cars and more. They have a snack bar, plenty of seating and an expansive outdoor activities area.
Car based playing that also tracks tickets win, so no more lost tokens or tickets which can be redeemed for some decent prizes.
We had our daughter's 7th birthday party at Funland and decided to go with the VIP bowling package. Not only was it well worth it, but the service we received from Clint and Danielle was outstanding. I could not have been happier, and our daughter had an absolute blast. The pizza was very good, we had plenty of beverages, and even ordered some extra fruit and veggie trays, which were plentiful. Overall, a wonderful day, and birthday memories which will last for years to come. One last thing...once the kids had eaten, and the cake was cut and served, the bowling area cleared out, so the adults took over and really enjoyed some fun competition!
Super fun, lots to do and a reasonable price for the season pass.
We take the kids here every year. They love it! The teenagers enjoyed it more than Kings Dominion. It's a little expensive when you bring two or three kids but I understand it's not a large corporations type business like Disney or Kings Dominion. I give it 5 stars
Friendly staff, safe and clean facilities and a good place to let the kids (or kid in you) play. If you are local I recommend the season pass which offers a great value.
