Well kept but depressing. They gave their lives in defense of an economic system based on the suffering, bondage and blood of other human beings. Similar to German military cemeteries, there is no glory in the cause, but the dead were loved and gave all.
A bunch of traitors are buried here. Sad that some ignorant southern whites still cling to the idea that their ancestors fought for some noble reasons, when in fact it all boiled down to them wanting to keep black people in chains forever. That's the truth of the matter.
Can'e Wait to visit. Sad that so many still think the War Between the States was fought over slavery. Many famous officers and enlisted, as well as prominent citizens and ordinary people buried here.
