Staff is very nice. However, I moved out of state to attend school and they gave me a very hard time with canceling my membership despit me providing the necessary documents. Very disappointment with the corporate sides tried to get in contact with them many times explain what happened to get the issue resolved but no luck. Be careful with this gym.
Gold's gym has been nothing but inconsiderate and frankly arbitrary. There was no grounds for the way they approached me and their contracts need to be revised to fit the needs of their consumers. I will never set foot into another Gold's gym due to their lack of consideration towards the memebers. Read over the contract a million times before signing on with buffoons.
I got my membership last week . and they told me I have to pay 25$ for of my childcare which was not bad so I went to to get a membership for my two daughter and next morning when I check my bank account they charge me 84$ And nobody even mentioned it to me they're going to charge me $84 And when I try to call them they keep hang up the phone on me.now I want to cancel the childcare I don't know how much they charge me bc Nobody told me that. I don't recommend this place for family

BBB gave this Fred'burg gym an "F" with 7 complaints. HEAVY FEES (i.e. $85 cancellation fee). With cancellation, I paid ~$200 ($59 enrollment + $35 monthly) in less than 2 months of not using. Salesperson lied in providing copy of contract. FYI: Planet Fitness is 24 hrs, $10 month & no contract. 1 star only because of staff. Heather (manager?) and Nick (trainer) are sympathetic, but powerless.
