Due to family illness auto & home insurance was cancelled and time passed without notifying insurance company that the family didn't have the need to renew policies when they were due to terminate. And bonus, we receive a small refund from insurance company for the term of the policy that was not renewed. Very disappointed in Erie insurance company.
I was with Geico for 15 years, I heard Erie was good so I called to get a quote, Got a great quote but when the next year came to renew my insurance had gone up drastically. I was told it was because of my credit. I had never been late on a payment and always made them but yet because my credit history is not stellar my insurance went up by $300 a year.
