Good place, good service.
This is the first time I have written a review for a business and hands down the absolute worst experience I have ever encountered. I would love to recommend TRC Moving, only because their movers were kind. Everything else about this "business" is in complete shambles. STAY AWAY!
I called the owner the following morning describing the situation that happened and how this has put me in a predicament because I now had to figure out a way to get a truck and get these couches moved out and to a donation location. I was told someone would come out the following day to get the couches and do whatever I needed with them, free of charge. GREAT, I thought! Yet, that feeling proved to be premature. Their "capable" movers had the wrong number listed for me (which I still don't understand) and was calling said number all day, when it came for pick up time they never came over because they had not talked to me. I followed up with the owner the next day and he really didn't have much to say other than "I'm not sure how that happened." We scheduled another appointment where he assured me it would be done right. That day came and went, no phone call, no knock at the door, NOTHING. Yet another example of how TRC moving didn't respect my time nor business. I had finally had enough and throughly expressed my distain for everything that had taken place in the couple weeks I was dealing with them. The owner apologized and said he had movers in my area that week and would have them there absolutely NO PROBLEMS. By now, I had already started looking for other solutions to remove the couches, but had set the appointment just in case. Well, when this day came around, the movers did show up. But with no truck.........
They called their boss, who didn't have the nerve to talk to me, and basically apologized and left. I have not heard from anyone since.
Never in my life have I dealt with such unprofessionalism and flat out disregard for other peoples time. First of all, the movers were scheduled to be at a location at 10am, 7 minutes prior is when I received a phone call informing me they would be "a little late" due to car trouble. Not once was I contacted on the progress of their arrival and I had to continue to call them on their status. THREE AND A HALF HOURS LATER, they finally arrive to move the little bit of stuff that I had (it only took them 45 minutes to load the truck) Yet, what they failed to realize, the reason I did schedule so early was because the final destination was 1.5 hours away and I needed to be at work 6pm. Due to them arriving so late, we ended up getting stuck in traffic for 3 hours. We arrived to my house at 5pm. As expected it took no time for them to unload my truck, the next problem occurred when they were attempting to place my couches in different rooms of the house. Unbeknownst by me, the couches were too big to fit through the doorway of the rooms. This all circles back around to them being so late, because by this time I wasn't able to think of any other options because I was already late for work. They left the couches sitting in 2 different hallways in my house. And had the audacity to charge me full price. I wish this is where the story ends, but it doesn't.
Absolutely horrible! TRC Moving cracked the screen on my television. Initially they were very empathetic and assumed responsibility. I received an email saying my check was waiting to be cut and it's been over a month and have I NOT received payment. Now they are ignoring my emails and telephone calls. ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE, UNPROFESSIONAL AND IMMORAL!
The TRC Moving crew showed up on time, was fast, curteous, and very professional. Did a great job, at a great price!
