. I can't say enough about Dr. Fisher and Dr. Hunter. They are so compassionate and truly understand how important our pets are. They always take their time and address my concerns carefully and honestly. Take your pets here!!

This office has been the primary vet for my pets since 2004. Previous staff members have told me that I should own a wing at this clinic with the amount of money I have spent there caring for my animals over the years.

Unfortunately, this Veterinary Clinic has lost their personal touch. There has been a lot of employee turnover in recent years. The current front desk staff exhibit a clear lack of compassion for the animals and are rude to the pet owners. They smart off ...call you by the wrong name on purpose and tell you to take animals to Eskimo Hill (Kill Shelter) because, according to them, it’s better than the Fredericksburg SPCA. I know that is not true, but it shows how little these vet employees value the lives of the animals. They do not care about any animal that they think they are not going to be able to make money on.

I was there another time recently when a lady had just had to put down her pet. She was very upset and crying, as can be expected. All the vet employee at the front desk said to her is..”.you can come back later to pay.” I took it upon myself to comfort this lady...hugging her and talking to her about her loss, letting her know I understood how she was feeling. There was absolutely no compassion extended from this vet clinic’s employee. It’s really a shame...all she cared about was settling the account. This pet owner paid before she left the office.

To my knowledge this Veterinary Clinic does not support non-profit organizations because I have inquired about a donation to a couple over the years and the request was not even considered or acknowledged.

I've had pets all my life, and coming from a military family, I've gone to many, many vets all over the country. England Run Veterinary Clinic is by far my favorite. Doctors Hunter and Fisher are very knowledgeable. They are both friendly and competent. AND (this is the best part) they never gouge you with unnecessary procedures and/or treatments. I absolutely recommend this practice. Not only are they great with the animals, they are great with Mom and Dad too! The entire staff makes each visit a pleasure. If you're looking for a new clinic, you've found it!

We have taken all of our animals here since moving to Stafford 6 years ago. They are always prompt, curtious, knowledgeable and caring. We needed to put our dog down that was almost 12 years old and the staff was with us every step of the way. They allowed us time with our dog to greive and all the options were explained to us a head of time. Our family will be forever grateful to the staff for their compassion. Great place for any pet.

My dog was really sick. She was shaking and lethargic, but because no vet clinics were open at the time I brought her to the emergency clinic where they treated her for an infection and gave her sub q fluids. She did not improve within 3 days and I did not have a Vet. I called the emergency clinic back as suggested and they told me to take her to my vet. I went online and did some research and found this clinic. My visit there went extremely well. As it turned out my dog did not have an infection at all. She was experiencing back pain. The Vet treated her and also found out that she had some serious allergies as well. They checked her ears out under a microscope right there at the office and came back with the results in minutes. She was treated then and there for everything. Since then her shaking had stopped and she is moving about the house without crying in pain like she did before. I am so grateful for the Vet Dr. Hunter taking the time and effort he did to really get to the root of all my dogs issues and my concerns. He explained every issue that arouse during the exam as well as what signs.
