Basically these guys are all about money. They charge you a premium when they know you don't have another option. You've been warned.

Cons- will charge you $2k to perform services your local vet will charge $600 for. And be wrong about the cause and not fix the issue, then offer you a $3k surgery for something you can have done for $860.

Dr. Kemp is incredible. Diagnosing two of my cats the first time she saw them after years of other vets not knowing what to do. I've never been so happy to be referred to a specialist! Thank you all so much for being so kind and helpful. And making people and pets feel loved!

Don't take your animal here for care, it is all about money and nothing about your animal. We took our mini schnauzer in at 5am because her breathing was shallow. She was dead by 7:30am. The doctor said she had a 70-80% chance of being fine if she had surgery. We tried every kind of way to come up with the over $3,000 that she wanted, which was on top of the initial $600 or so dollars. When she saw that we were struggling to come up with the money, all of a sudden, Abby (our baby) was very critical and she rushed us out of the door to go to Richmond to a more affordable hospital. When they handed Abby back, she looked as if she was having a seizure. We went around the block and Abby started gasping for breath. We flew back to CARE and only to walk in with a DEAD dog. Abby was only 8 years old. Schnauzers usually live 12-15 years. Her tongue was white due to cardiac arrest from the methadone that was given to her. They didnt give her any fluids even though they said she was dehydrated. They also gave her a dose that was meant for a 44 pound dog and Abby was only 15.7 pounds. Big difference. When we looked over the paperwork and spoke to our regular vet, we believe she would have made it home alive if we had gone in with an unlimited amount of money. ALL ABOUT THE MONEY. If you love your pet, stay away from this place.

Went at 6 am on Saturday morning. My 6yo dachshund has a calcified disc that caused her to be able to walk. After xrays and pain meds she is at home resting. Staff was very attentive and helpful. Didn't cost as much as I thought it would, just under $500.

*Edit* Will also tell you there is no additional balance on your estimate and then attempt to send you to collections. Completely unprofessional. Avoid at all costs!

I appreciate all that the staff at this office has done. Everyone has been friendly each time I come by or call. I feel comfortable at each visit and think it's so sweet how everyone is with my pets!

Pros- They are open 24hrs.

I didn't expect such great and personnel service when I brought my dog in. The front staff were welcoming to anyone that came in and talkative to those waiting. The staff in back explained every thing to me and my options. They were very attentive to what my dog needed. I thought the pricing was fair for what is the only vet open at the time I needed it.
