Charged me an extra $50 for being a few minutes late returning car. When I called customer service I spoke to someone named carmen asking for an exception. She was rude throughout interaction saying over and over that I was not getting any type of refund and that I should have returned on time before hanging up on me. NEVER renting from budget again and I'd advise you not to as well unless you don't mind poor customer service. Amazon is a prime example of a company who makes customers their priority and is still a very successful business. Budget is not.
Budget is a rip off. They are over priced and misleading in their rental policies. I was charged for services I didn't ask for or receive. When I requested a refund after cancelling my reservation (for the unwanted/hidden fees), I was still charged a $100 fee. I was told at the counter that I would receive my entire refund with no fee. So here I am with my bad review. I hope this helps another customer avoid a similar situation.
