The staff is very nice, but they do not know what they are doing. I purchased a very nice ring for my wife as a present, but needed by a specific date. I was promised that it would be done, that didn't happen. We were also promised a spa gift card, but the inept sales person neglected to tell us that any advertised specials, could not be combined with any other discounts, but it was promised and she even took down the email address and everything else so it could be sent to us. Then, the last straw. I went to pick it up, as it was late and I was willing to over look that because my wife loved the ring. I brought it home and my wife tried it on and it didn't fit. She was so upset and was willing to overlook this until the ring didn't fit and she asked me to take it back to the store. When I did, they were very upset and asked if they could do anything to help alleviate the problem, I said no and asked if they had a district or higher form of manager, they told me no, which once I called the main Helzberg phone number, found out that was not the full truth.

My husband bought me a beautiful necklace for Valentine's Day. He also purchased the lifetime warranty, just in case anything broke. A little over a year later, the chain broke and I decided to take Helzberg up on their offer for a replacement. All I needed was a chain, so I figured it wouldn't take too long and I may even be able to leave the store wearing my necklace that day. No. The necklace had been discontinued, so they'd have to see if they could find a replacement for me in any of their other stores. They couldn't just replace the chain. They'd have to replace the pendent as well. When I hadn't heard anything a month later, I called to find out what happened. The manager said, "There's no replacement, so let me call corporate and find out what I can do for you." Three days later I got a call saying a new chain would be here sometime "next week." At the end of "next week" I called to find out what was going on. I was given the run around and told a manager would call. It's been 6 weeks and I STILL DON'T HAVE MY NECKLACE! The manager just called to let me know the chain came in today, but the original order was cancelled because my necklace had been discontinued. DON'T OFFER A LIFETIME WARRANTY IF YOU DON'T HAVE THE MEANS TO HOLD UP THAT WARRANTY. They have beautiful jewelry, but but bother with the warranty unless you purchase a very expensive item. Anything under $500 isn't worth the wait and run around.
