Their gyros are out of control good and you will quickly forget that delivery pizza even existed. Their pizza is hands down the best you will get in the area and is still in my top 5 favorite pizza places ever. I basically haven't ever had anything bad on the menu, and I've probably tried almost all of it. Their baklava is great as well.
I was introduced to this place by a friend while I went to MWC right across the street. This place quickly became my favorite restaurant in Fredericksburg. The place has a very cozy feel and it hasn't be redecorated in about 30 years which adds to the charm. Don't let the age fool you, it is super clean and well maintained inside. It is a family owned restaurant and they will quickly learn their regulars and they are always friendly.

Parthenon is a fantastic family restaurant. Their food is phenomenal. Best pizza in town! Try the flaming cheese!
Recommend the Saganaki to start and the baklava to finish. Anything else is just extra!
Do NOT be fooled by the modest interior and exterior. This is a "Don't judge a book by its cover" type of places.
There is a reason why this place has been there forever, try it out and you will understand!
There were a number of issues that I found with this place. First, the silverware was dirty and had food particles clearly visible. Food tasted poor; it felt as if it had been previously made, then reheated under a heat lamp. The cheese saganaki was unappetizing, and had a flavor of 3 day old sweaty gym sock. My wife and I ordered the gyro platter, and was left beyond disappointed. It didn't remind us of any delicious gyro that we had in Santorini, Greece. The spaghetti that we ordered for our kids was sub-par. To top it all off, this nightmare cost us $50. Would definitely not recommend this place to anyone.
Excellent pizza. Friendly service. Modest prices. One of the best meals I and my party had here in Fredericksburg.
