I had scheduled laparoscopic gallbladder surgery last week and a follow up appointment today. Dr. Wicker has an excellent bedside manner, is extremely knowledgeable, and I could not be happier with my experience at his office (the staff is very friendly) or with my surgery. I would definitely recommend Dr. Wicker to anyone unfortunate enough to need his outstanding services.
Had a ruptured appendix and Mr wicker did emergency surgery. 8 weeks later was sent back to work to hang more kitchen cabinets, ended up having a ruptured hernia was told mesh would make me better than new even though I told him numerous times I lift on average over a 100 lbs a day. He was not concerned. I asked about the mesh and how alot of people were having bad reactions sometimes even death, he told me again not to worry mesh is better now. Had surgery with a 5 inch peice of mesh implanted, was sent back to work in 6 weeks. Needless to say 6 months later my buldge is back pain won't go away l lost my job and can't lift over 20 lbs. Really wish he would have been honest. In good conscience I can not recommend him. If no one believes me I have all the surgical records and his own comments in my possession. Doctor's as well as companies producing medical devices like this need to be held accountable. Sincerely Timothy kile
