This is an excellent Inn have stayed here several times for visits to DC area. Rooms are clean, quite and well appointed. Grounds are clean & safe. Staff is friendly & helpful. High point is an excellent breakfast!
We use this hotel as a stopover on our trips between MA and FL. We travel with a small dog and this hotel is pet friendly. The rooms we have stayed in have no carpeting, which is great for people traveling with pets. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. There is breakfast in the morning and a Shoney's right out in front of the hotel. There is a nice area to walk your dog.
Staff was wonderful. Hotel was nice, but I think it could use more mobility units. As the senior population increases the hospitality industry is going to have to adjust their accommodations. They have beautiful shower chairs but you have to climb over the bathtub side to utilize the shower which is not always possible.
Hotel overall was very nice. Clean, dog friendly and so most people had pets. Basic motel with smaller rooms. Nice breakfast. The one complaint is we purposely reserved a queen room and our room had double beds. When we complained we were told that is the queen room. When we asked to see a double room then they said they were sold out and could not show us one. I can promise you that those 'queen' rooms have double beds. We have a queen bed and that was not one.
I was traveling with my dog and researched reviews of hotels in the area that were accepting of pets and chose the Best Western. I appreciated the rooms for pets were in the rear of the property where it was quiet. The room had vinyl plank flooring that work great in pet friendly rooms. The only negative is the room is a bit on the small side so the table and chairs are crammed between the bed and the window.
