Craig & Elise were phenomenal!! They found us the best deal & really went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Great bars and restaurants within walking distance. Awesome job Marriott!!
The hotel is located on in a prime location and the night staff is great. Unfortunately the a.c. in my room was broke. I didn't let them know that night but told them when checking out the next morning and woman who was just me out barely acknowledged my comment. Considering that is was already 80 degrees at am, it would have been nice to have gotten any kind of reaction.... her and the other gentleman were to busy talking... thank God the other 3 people I ran into while checking in where amazing.
Wonderful hotel with attentive staff. Small problem with room was quickly addressed by Roger and Dave. Front end manager Paola was very kind to resolve. Will be staying here again. Comfortable beds and relaxing shower too.
Very nice hotel in the middle of the historic district. Staff was attentive. Facilities are modern. Rooms are clean and well appointed. The only reason I took a star off was that it's pretty horrendously overpriced. $200 per night is pretty over the top. Had to do a last minute booking for a family event but will not stay here again at anything approaching this rate. Also, be prepared for a bit of an adventure with parking if you plan on driving here.
Room was nice enough. Location in Downtown Fredericksburg was optimal. However, the hotel does not offer complimentary parking which is rather egregious in an area where parking is already at a premium. The lack of a continental breakfast is also disappointing. Worst of all there was a dead cockroach in the room. One small additional complaint is that they still provided new towels despite the fact that we planned to reuse them and hung them up on the rack. Overall you can do worse for a hotel, but it's unfortunate that this is the only real option downtown.
